Upholstered in a luxurious chemical-free woven damask fabric, the mattress features a hand tufted finish that ensures its deep fillings stay firmly in place. Double layers of British wool create a resilient insulator that helps to regulate your body temperature, whilst keeping you cool in the summer and warm in the winter. The core of the mattress is made up of small diameter pocket springs with each coil housed in its own cloth sleeve and free of any surrounding springs. The springs are able to move freely so the load on one is not affected by any neighbouring springs, providing piston-like support to each part of your body. A flat rod-edge metal frame is fitted to the perimeter to ensure the integrity of the nested pocket springs and allow you the full use of the mattress width.
