Small in diameter, the pocket springs are tightly nestled together with each one housed in its own cloth sleeve, freeing them from any neighbouring spring. The load on one spring is not affected by any surrounding springs, allowing them to contour perfectly to your body shape and provide piston-like support. Totally independent, the springs are not affected by varying weights and body shapes, resulting in a system that supports directly at the point of contact.
